Lining up strips of the 15N-TOCSY-HSQC or 15N-NOESY-HSQC can be useful in a variety of contexts. Sometimes you may have noted down several possible matches for a particular strip and want to look at them. At other times you may think you have a string of sequential spin systems and you may want to look at their strips in a row to review whether this is correct or not.
Begin by calling up the Resonances pop-up from the Resonances menu. Sort the resonances by Spin System and then select the N and H resonances of your spin system of interest. Now make sure that the correct Window which you would like to use is selected from the drop-down menu. Then click on Go to Position and the selected window will navigate to the NH position of the selected resonance. If your target window contains several strips, then it will be the active strip in that window which navigates to the new position.
You can gradually build up a row of strips in your window. Either add a new strip to your window or change the active strip (button highlighted in green) and then go back to the Resonances pop-up in order to select your next HN resonance pair. You can also delete or move your strips relative to one another using the buttons in the Strips Toolbar (see figure below).
