Chemical Shifts

This section describes some of the basics about chemical shifts with particular focus on their uses in Protein NMR. For more detailed and mathematical treatments of chemical shifts, please refer to the literature.

Some of this section is based on the following book chapter I have written:
V.A. Higman (2013, in press) Nuclear magnetic resonance methods for studying soluble, fibrous and membrane-embedded proteins, in Proteins in solution and at interfaces: Methods and Applications in Biotechnology and Materials Science, J.M.
